About Me
After founding and leading the nonprofit Bel Inizio for 14 years, Theresa Strong retired and discovered a deep passion for all things bees. She apprenticed as a compassionate bee remover and went on to create Strong Bee Removal, which specializes in the humane relocation of bee swarms and colonies. Bees are carefully moved to their new homes, most often local apiaries, where they can continue to thrive.
When possible, honey from removal colonies is safely and respectfully harvested. This pure, golden honey is offered for a suggested donation, with all net proceeds benefiting Bel Inizio, a Houston-based nonprofit. Bel Inizio—Italian for “beautiful beginning”—empowers women in recovery to build self-confidence and life skills through fitness and nutrition.
